**European Сonference “SMEs and Standardization”**
!(/images/upload/Novini/SMEST/smest_logo.jpg)On 28 May 2013 in Brussels will be held a European conference on "SMEs and Standardization", which will allow for a discussion on how to promote the successful participation of SMEs in standardization and how to benefit them in fully from the opportunities that European standards offer. The conference is organized as a part of SMEST 2, a European project to strengthen and promote links between SMEs and standardization.
Conference speakers include representatives of the European Commission, business and industry associations active on critical issues concerning standards and SMEs, and of course SMEs themselves.
The conference aims at: SMEs; Organizations representing SMEs; Trade and business associations, Chambers of commerce; National government departments and bodies, local and regional governments, regulatory bodies; Representatives of European institutions and bodies; Representatives of academia and universities; European and national standards organizations and any other interested parties.
Participation is free of charge.
